Benifits of Me Time

Lately, I have been so busy with working two jobs, being a full time student, fundraising, and helping out my family so the other day I decided to have me time like I had promised I would in my New Year’s resolution list.  I have been doing poorly in that part of my resolution, but after my relaxing time, I am definetly doing it again. One day I ended up being free in the morning till 2:30 and I thought I can finally relax but I didn’t want to be in my house, so I went driving and ended up at a nails salon. The Salon was big, and it looked nice. The manager took me in quickly, and I got to do a pedicure and manicure with a free drink. They did a great a job with my nails, and I even got massages on my legs, feet, hands, arms, shoulders, and neck. Now that is a big deal because on my New Years resolution list I had put try new things and getting massages is something I would never do. The reason why I would have never done this is that I don’t like people touching me but when they were giving me a massage it actually felt good, but I did feel a little awkward at the same time. Anyways just doing that for myself relieved so much stress and I felt way better afterwards. I entirely think everyone should take a moment for themselves.
