It’s been a long time since I wrote a Poem and I don’t know why I stopped. I had fun writing this short poem hope you guys like it 😊

What is beauty

Beauty is free

Beauty is natural

Beauty is laughter

Beauty is comfort

Beauty is a new born baby

Beauty is a flower blooming

Beauty is from within

Beauty isn’t forced

You are a perfect and unique creation of nature

You are beauty

Safe People by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend

Wednesday, March 28th, 2018

I have recently started reading this book, and so far I love it. I think this book is insight full and excellent for others to read. This book helps you to find relationships that are good for you, and it helps you to avoid people that are not safe. The book has three parts the first part talks about unsafe people… what is an unsafe person, personal traits of unsafe people, interpersonal traits of unsafe people and how we lost our safety. The second part is Do I attract unsafe people?… do I have a “safety deficit,” why do I choose unsafe relationships, false solutions, why do I isolate myself from people. Lastly, Part three is Safe People… what are safe people, why do we need safe people, where are the safe people, learning how to be safe, and lastly should I repair or replace. “Safe People will help you restructure your approach to relationships. Put an end to getting burned— and start enjoying the healthy, balanced relationships everyone wants and needs.” (safe people)

If you have been in a relationship (friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc.) with someone and you were abused verbally, abuse physically, used or abandoned then this book would be really great for you

“I have read several of the Dr. Cloud and Dr. Townsend books over the years. This book “Safe People” though is one of the best insights about people and relationships. I start reading the book and I was able not only identify issues that I need to work on, but was able to recognize some of the behaviors and actions of others. This book is a great complement to the Boundaries Series and I would suggest that anyone who wants to increase the relationships in a healthy and positive manner get a copy. I have recommended the book for our Men’s Group at Church and others.”

-Don (

” It teaches how to see things in others but more importantly it teaches the reader of how they are treating others. The line that has stuck with me the most since reading this book is, “in order to attract safe people you need to be a safe person yourself.” This is very true and women sometimes need help in recognizing the areas in our lives that can cause other to see us as unsafe people. It personally made me stop and think about things before I say them, or at least try to do that more, because what comes out of my mouth can affect the other person in a powerful way.

This book was very easy to read. There are Scripture references all over in it and the authors are Christians who give it a Christian world view but I have recommended it to non-Christians as well…”

-Cindy (

you can find the book in Amazon and Barnes and Noble

1st Mission Trip

Wednesday, March 21st, 2018

So Hopefully I am going to be going on my first mission trip this summer to Haiti. All I need is $500 by June 11th and I need my passport to come in really soon. I am excited to have this kind of opportunity to come up like i can’t wait to build stuff and be with the kids etc and I really want to make a difference over there. Now even though I am excited to go to Haiti I am also a little scared because I have never gone out the country and I am a clumsy person so a part of me thinks I might hammer my thumb or something and I might get lost but I’m pretty mush scared of it all because it’s just a whole new experience for me. It’s just scary and exciting at the same time. I am happy that I’m doing this because I’m getting out of my comfort zone and I get to help people which is really great. When I get there I plan to take Pictures and write about my experience over there. Oh! and if you would like to donate click on this:

and if you don’t feel in your heart to pay that’s okay but please wish me good luck or pray for me that’ll be helpful too 🙂

A couple of years back I decided to try to save and make a little side money so in my process I checked out a lot of apps that can help me and one of those apps is ShopKick. When I saw this, I wasn’t sure about it, but I decided to give it a shot. Thankfully I gave it a chance because I have been using this app ever since.

Here is some information you might want to know about Shopkick. First off you are able to use this app on a smartphone, iPhone, or tablet. This app offers users rewards for doing simple things at stores or online stores like walking into the stores and scanning items. You also can get rewards by making purchases online or in the store and you have to scan the receipt. By doing this, you will get rewarded with points that are called kicks and with those kicks you can exchange them for gift cards.

On-line purchases: For you to able to get kicks for purchasing online you would have to sync your card to the app and use the websites that are in the app to get the kick points.

Walk-ins: To get kicks for walk ins you have to have your Bluetooth on and the app open to receive it

Scans- For scanning, you have to see what items in the store has kick points and when you find them in the store you just scan the barcodes

In-store purchases: To receive points for this you need to have specific items that are in the app on your receipt

Fun facts: They have been around since 2009, and there are over 200 participating stores in the U.S. like Circle-K, CVS, Publix, 7-Eleven, Walmart, etc.

For me, this app is perfect because I use this for the starbucks, ultra and target gift cards since they are my favorites. Some other rewards that they have are tj max marshals homegoods, walmart, amazon, american eagle, feeding america, aerie, american red cross, best buy, ebay, lowe’s, nike, old navy, game stop, the chocolate factory, papa johns, sephora, itunes, amc, jcpenny, bed bath and beyond, foot locker, google paper, barnes and noble, groupon, uber, disney, outback, fandango,, carrabba’s, saks fifth avenue,, tory burch, tiffany and co.,  and lastly a vespa (this is my goal). For you to be able to get any of these you have to have a specific amount of kicks.
